MEET KIRSTEN
BUILDING HOPE AND BUILDING FUTURES
Kirsten Wyatt was elected to position #3 on the West Linn Wilsonville School Board on May 18, 2021 and will serve a term through June 30, 2025.
Kirsten and her husband Kent have lived in West Linn for 14 years. Their daughters attend Trillium Creek Primary School and Rosemont Ridge Middle School.
Kirsten is the co-founder and executive director of ELGL, the Engaging Local Government Leaders. ELGL is an international network of 5,000 town, city, county, and district elected officials and employees.
Previously, she served as the Assistant City Manager in West Linn, Oregon; and as an Education Finance Analyst for the Virginia Department of Education.
She also serves on the Board of Directors for Politisit, a non-profit that reimburses child care costs so parents can get involved with government. She also serves on the West Linn Library Foundation Board of Directors.
Kirsten received her undergraduate degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
